So to get started I should let you know who I am... My name is Crystal, I'm 25, married, and welcomed my little bundle of joy on 12/07/12. My water broke on it's own but I wasn't dialating so I was immediately pumped with Pitocin (it's as horrible as everyone else says it is). I wanted an epidural free labor but the pitocin killed that illusion. Thirteen hours after my water broke my precious baby boy was born. He was 6lbs 15oz, 19 inches and extremely alert. It was love at first sight and the overwhelming emotional wave that hits you makes you forget there was life before you were a mom. The minute they placed him in my arms he had his eyes wide open and was calmly taking it all in. After a ridiculous amount of visitors my little man was still wide awake, taking it all in. I couldn't take my eyes off the little guy and couldn't help but wonder what was in store for us...
